Style: Baltic Porter
ABV 10.5%
Origin: Estonia
An Imperial Baltic Porter as dark as Estonian winter nights. Strong enough to keep you warm on cold nights.
Taste: A rich body is initially perceived. Initially, the espresso-like acidity is balanced by a sweet, caramelized toffee flavor. As the glass warms, you should expect to taste red currants, mixed with dark chocolate, washed down with a light alcoholic warmth.
Appearance: Pitch black, as dark as the night sky, with a dull brown head.
Nose: Clean, burnt sugar dominates, immediately giving way to rich dark fruits: plums, raisins, and fresh cranberries. Finally, a toasty smoke emerges, like a distant bonfire on the horizon.
Malts: Pilsner Zero, Munich, Carafa II Special, Special B, Chocolate Malt, Crystal 300, Demerara Sugar
Hops: Magnum, northern brewery
Translation: Night
