Complex and balanced triple
Westmalle Tripel is a pale, golden-yellow Trappist beer containing 9.5% alcohol. The slow brewing process and secondary fermentation in the bottle produce a complex beer with a fruity aroma of ripe banana and a lovely nose with hoppy nuances. The smooth, creamy flavor, with its bitter note contributed by the fruity aroma, is full of finesse and elegance. Enjoy the deliciously long, dry finish as well.
Beer connoisseurs call Westmalle Tripel the "mother of all tripels," as the first Tripel was brewed within our abbey walls in 1934.
