The Gulden Draak Imperial Stout is a dark brown to black beer and is the heaviest beer in the Gulden Draak range, with 12% alcohol by volume. The typical roasted flavor is achieved by adding roasted and caramelized malt used exclusively for this purpose. It is a very well-balanced heavy beer.
The finish is rich and powerful. When you taste this specialty beer, you'll discover aromas of banana and chocolate. The secondary fermentation develops beautifully and perfectly balances the higher alcohols.
